Light Speed

I was going to quip, a week or few ago, that things are happening faster than I can read.  Well, that has always been the case.  But in particular, things change faster than I could comment on, while others share faster than I could ever keep up with.  Then there are things that I feel have maybe jumped the shark(1) .  Well...that is not exactly the ticket(2) .  But there are issues that I did not even want to get deeper into because the sources^ are too skeptical*.
